Wholesale Airfare Overview:

While looking for cheap discount flights online, we usually come across a term called ‘wholesale airfare’. When airfare is purchased in bulk at a discounted price for group travel or missionary trips, it is called wholesale airfare. The discount wholesale airfare facility is only available with the purchase of minimum 4 tickets or more. In this way travel consolidators as well as travel sites who buy flight tickets from the airlines directly get discount on bulk airfares. Though there is a contract between the travel consolidator & the airline regarding the number of flight tickets to receive a wholesale airfare discount but irrespective of it they always end up purchasing tickets at a much lower rate than published rate, giving travelers an opportunity to save on their travel cost.

How to Strike Better Wholesale Airfare Deals:

The wholesale airfare facility always comes with the purchase of flight tickets in bulk & a single traveler can’t dare to buy even minimum number of airline tickets necessary to receive cheap discount airfares. That’s why a large number of travel sites & airline consolidators are getting into the business of purchasing tickets in bulk, so that travelers can get the concession eventually.
